A: TurfGuard® is a protective spray designed to prevent painful turf burns during sports.
Q: How do I use TurfGuard®?
A: Spray a thin layer over any exposed skin that may contact the turf before playing. Allow it to dry before activity.
Q: What are the Ingredients in TurfGuard®?
A: It’s made with skin-safe ingredients you’d see in high-end skincare, such as water + glycerin for hydration, witch hazel to calm the skin, dimethicone for smoothness, zinc oxide to protect, allantoin and panthenol to soothe/repair, acrylates copolymer to help it stay put, and gentle preservatives (phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin) to keep it from expiring.
Q: How does TurfGuard® work?
A: It creates a microscopic, friction proof barrier between your skin and the turf so that you can slide without your skin taking the hit.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Returns accepted within 30 days for unopened products.
Q: Is TurfGuard® safe for all skin types?
A: Yes. TurfGuard® is dermatologist tested and designed to be safe for most skin types. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend testing on a small area first.
Q: Can TurfGuard® be used for other sports besides football and soccer?
A: Absolutely. TurfGuard® works on any artificial turf surface, so it’s great for lacrosse, field hockey, rugby, and more.
Q: How long does one bottle last?
A: Usage varies, but typically a 4 oz bottle provides 25-40 uses. This scales as you buy the Duo Pack and up. Usage is in every product's description. On a game by game basis, the bottle will last about 4 hours per use in normal conditions.
Q: Can TurfGuard® be applied over sunscreen?
A: We recommend applying TurfGuard® on clean, dry skin. For best results, apply sunscreen first, allow it to absorb, then spray TurfGuard®.
Q: What if I get TurfGuard® in my eyes?
A: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we now ship internationally.
Q: How long does shipping take?
